Ford Season Is Coming to You This Summer

It’s almost time for a special time of the year as Ford  season is underway. Celebrating all things Escort, Cortina, Fiesta, Focus, Mustang and more, July and August are the dates for the diary with two huge Ford shows taking place in the UK.

The Ford Show At Santa Pod Raceway - July 2022

Santa Pod Raceway is the venue for The Ford Show on Saturday July 16th and Sunday the 17th. The Bedfordshire drag strip will host a dazzling array of classic, retro, modern, hot hatch, performance, souped-up and muscle models. The day’s line-up includes club displays, drag racing demos, monster truck shows, drifting exhibitions and stunt spectacles.

There will be something for everyone at the Santa Pod Ford fest with an auto trade village, VIP hospitality areas, masses of catering and funfair rides for the kids. There’s a tonne of competitions that Blue Oval owners can get involved in too with Run What Ya Brung (RWYB) and Drift What Ya Brung (DWYB) public track days offering the chance for all to hit the famed quarter mile drag strip.

The 2022 Santa Pod show promises to be an adrenaline-rushing, exhaust-fumed, colour-infused carnival of all things Ford. Whether you’re taking part or simply showing off your prized motor from the car park, make a statement with a Zunsport Ford grille.

Ford Fair At Silverstone - August

Now this is the one all motorheads with a love for the Blue Oval are excited about. The Ford Fair is back for 2022 in this the 37th running of the Silverstone showcase. Last year was the biggest show yet with over 5,000 cars on display and 18,000 people in attendance and the 2022 edition promises to be bigger still.

Ford  Fair is the biggest show of its kind in Europe and this year takes place on Sunday 14th August. The home of British motorsport will play host to club displays, track action throughout the day, demo sessions and a vast array of retail offerings. Experts will be on hand to offer advice to show-goers and the chance to pick up the latest upgrades for all Fords. Past, present and future cars will be on display and there will be lots of opportunities to explore Silverstone and its iconic innards while browsing everything on offer.
